The Bobby Fund and Realtor Care Fund

The Bobby Fund was established in 1988 by the REALTOR Community Service Committee to help four year old leukemia victim, Bobby, attain a grand dream of visiting Disney World. Since then, its mission has been to aid juveniles under 17 years of age who are chronically or terminally ill. The Bobby Fund was granted official IRS status as a charitable foundation in 1995.

The REALTOR Care Fund was introduced in 2000. It is to help terminally or chronically ill members of the community as well as to aid victims of catastrophes within Union County. It has aided several of our own members during the two years of the operation.

GUCAR is currently exploring its establishment as a tax exempt charity.
